Whispers of Beauty
You don’t hear about how beautiful Guatemala is. Not loudly, anyway. It’s passed along quietly, in stories, in memories, and in the way someone looks when they talk about it. This work comes from listening to that. From looking closer.
Photographed between Lake Atitlán and Antigua, Guatemala, this series captures the richness of daily life
Traces of Mayan heritage live not in monuments, but in what’s been kept — woven textiles, worn paths, familiar rituals, and the way tradition shows up in everyday life. These images hold onto what remains. Not out of nostalgia, but in recognition of what continues.
