Airplane Mode
I’ve always been drawn to airports and planes. There’s something quietly fascinating about being in flight. You are apart of the world, yet completely removed from it. Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from the massive Airbus A380 to small propeller planes in remote regions and quiet moments aboard private jets.
Airplane Mode is a personal look at those in-between moments: the glow of cabin lights at night, the stillness before takeoff, the view from a window seat, the way time bends and slows in terminals. It’s also about the people who move within these spaces every day. The flight crews, ground staff, gate and ramp agents who keep the world quietly in motion.
These aren’t just travel photos, they’re quiet portraits of time, motion, and stillness, all seen through a lens of childlike curiosity that never quite left.
Images crafted on my Leica Q2 & Q3 Cameras.
